PHOTOSHOOT LOCATION GUIDE

ATLANTA

It can be overwhelming trying to choose a Location for you photoshoot. That is why I have put together a list of some of the most popular photoshoot locations around Atlanta.

TIPS FOR CHOOSING A LOCATION:

1. Choose a place that holds meaning to you.

For example- If you choose the location where you first met, then your engagement photos will always remind you of that sweet day when you met! Or think of a place you visit often. A coffee shop? A store?

2.Consider the time of day.

Remember that in photography, light is everything. The best light is usually the last few hours before sunset, which will make sure that the sun is not beaming down causing harsh shadows on your face and making you squint! If you plan to have a sunset engagement session, be sure that the light will be flattering at that time of the day!

3.Think about the types of outfits you’d like to wear.

Make sure your outfits fit the location and vibe of the place you’ve chosen.

4. Go somewhere beautiful!

There isn’t a rule that says the location of your engagement session has to be meaningful thanks to something that happened there previously. If you love the location and the light is good there, I encourage you to go for it! The place will become meaningful to you once you’ve had your session there.

5. RELAX.

Photos should be fun not stressful! Don't overthink it, just show up and enjoy the moment.
